Anticipation is building for the 43rd Annual Renaissance ArtsFaire on November 1st and 2nd, 2014, two fun-filled days of entertainment, food, shopping and merriment! Held annually at Young Park, this is one of the largest cultural events in Southern New Mexico. We bring you 150 juried artists, food vendors and entertainers, all reminiscent of a time of romance, royalty, and chivalry.
The Renaissance ArtsFaire involves the whole community with all food booths benefiting non-profit organizations in addition to those local non-profit organizations promoting their activities through information booths or children’s activities.
Magellan, the Faire’s magic dragon and most famous icon, will be spending the festive weekend overseeing the activities while floating lazily on Young Park Lake. “The Evil Black Knight” just can’t keep Magellan, so once again this year’s attendees can take a canoe ride to get “up close and personal” to Magellan.
The Dona Ana Arts Council is please to have so many talented artist from across the realm represented in the Renaissance ArtsFaire.
