When you Support the Arts and donate to the Dona Ana Arts Council, you automatically become a member for one year. As a member of DAAC, you will be invited for receptions and priority seating at special events, enrollment in our monthly E-Newsletter ArtsWrap, discounted tickets for special events, and the satisfaction of being a partner in raising the quality of life in the Las Cruces community.

The Doña Ana Arts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico by ensuring that the performing, visual, and literary arts are an integral part of education, economic growth, and community development.
Among the many programs offered by the Arts Council are the Missoula Children’s Theatre, a week-long theatre ex-perience open to all children ages 5-18 in the community; Youth At Risk / Artists in Residency at La Casa Shelter for Domestic Violence, in which local artists conduct free weekly art workshops for children living at the shelter; Career Art Path (CAP), in which 40 middle school children spend two weeks getting first-hand knowledge of the arts; Kennedy Center Partners in Education, working with the Las Cruces Public Schools to provide professional development for teachers and increased student access to the arts; and many more programs throughout each year.
In addition, the Arts Council sponsors such regularly-at-tended events as the Las Cruces Art Fair, the Renaissance ArtsFaire, and a variety of special events taking place in the Rio Grande Theatre, including Every Other Tuesday, RGT Live! Open Mic and Film Las Cruces. None of this would be possible, however, without generous donations from sponsors and people like you.
