Since 1996, the Doña Ana Arts Council and the Las Cruces Public Schools have been members of the Kennedy Center Partners in Education Program. The Partners in Education program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts assists arts organizations throughout the nation to develop or expand educational partnerships with their local school systems. The primary purpose of these partnerships is to provide professional learning in the arts for teachers.

Each year the Arts Council offers a variety of art programs to area students.  This includes summer camps, support for children at risk, and programming through the Kennedy Center. For information on current opportunities click here.
