The Doña Ana Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) arts non-profit organization dedicated to fostering artistic growth, cultural diversity, and community engagement.

We support emerging and established artists, exhibit innovative works, and facilitate inclusive programs that:

WHAT WE DO

At the Doña Ana Arts Council we push boundaries through innovative curatorial practices:

  • Thematic Exhibitions: We implement Interdisciplinary shows featuring ground breaking technical artistry, as well as explore social, environmental, and cultural issues.

  • Artist-Led Curation: Our Gallery Manager empowers artists to co-curate exhibitions, fostering creative autonomy.

  • Community-Driven Projects: We collaborative initiatives engaging local communities in art-making and decision-making.

  • Digital Storytelling: Integrating technology to enhance exhibition experiences and reach broader audiences.

  • Experimental Formats: Non-traditional exhibition formats, such as pop-ups, performances, and happenings

We believe that arts education is essential for creative growth, critical thinking, and community engagement. Our educational programs cater to diverse ages, skill levels, and interests.

  • Our Summer Youth Program “CAP” (Career Art Path)

  • Workshops

  • Lectures and Artist Talks

  • Community Outreach: Art therapy programs for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

  • Annual Renaissance Arts Festival: Largest community-wide event, attracting 10,000+ attendees during the first weekend of November

  • Artist Markets: Showcase of local artisans and makers

  • Workshops and Classes: Arts education for adults and youth
