Gardens of the World with Art Historian Nicholas Dahle. Nicholas is a graduate student in Art History at the University of Texas at El Paso. He studies with Kathleen Key, and is highly recommended by Ms. Key to present this series.
For centuries rulers, scholars and common people have used gardens as artistic expressions of themselves and the natural world around them.In this lecture series we will explore various gardens in Europe, Africa, Asia,North America and South America. We will learn how the organization of plants used for food or medicine developed into a highly skilled artform.
