From Kathleen Key, art historian:

In one year, in 26 lectures, you will study the art of the whole world from prehistory to the 21st Century!  We will cover not only European art and art in North America from prehistoric period to contemporary times, but the art of China, Japan, Islam, Africa, Oceania and Native America.  Come join us for one week, several weeks or the whole 26 weeks!

We will be following the art history book “Art through the Ages” by Helen Gardner.  While not a requirement, students may want to get a copy of Gardner’s book.  Many used copies are available locally or online.

World Art History Part I:  13 sessions*, Mondays at 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. via Zoom from September 14 to December 14, 2020 (no class December 7)
