We will also cover the Bauhaus movement in Germany and Dada and Surrealism in Europe as well as modernist artists working in the USA before 1950. The last lectures will feature art after World War II with artists such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper johns, Georgia O’Keefe, Edward Hopper, Andy Warhol, Luis Jimenez and many others. Throughout this class we will include the works of great architects and great photographers from our time frame.
