Fundamentals of Painting a Still-Life in Soft Pastel
Instructors: Carolyn Bunch and Renee Marz Mullis
Cost: $65 including all materials for use in the workshop, and a set of 12 pastels for each person to take home.

This workshop is an introduction to the art of pastel painting. Instructors will guide students in the creation of a still life on either dark or light paper. Instructors will focus on charcoal techniques to draw the still life. Next, they will guide students in developing a full color pastel painting. Carolyn Bunch and Renee` Marz Mullis will conduct several demonstrations and give individual attention to the 20 students in this class. No experience is necessary; just bring a sack lunch and a willingness to experiment. Carolyn Bunch and Renee` Marz Mullis will provide all materials and supplies, as well as donate the entire tuition to DAAC. Renee` Marz Mullis will be donating a set of pastels for each participant.
