Learn how to transfer rusty old objects onto fabric. Think of all the ways you could use this: Prayer flags, quilting, fiber art, the jacket you wish wasn’t white, in your artwork, scarves, purses…. We all need rusted fabric! Using all the rusty objects in my stash we will have lots of textures and designs to create. Three pieces of fabric will be provided but you may bring more of your own fabric if you like. If you have a cafeteria type tray, bring that too. You will take home your own collection of rusty fabric and tons of ideas!
Vickie Voiers Morrow is a mosaic and assemblage artist working primarily on large commissions in handmade tile mosaics for the last ten years .For creative relief in her spare studio time, she has departed to found object assemblage, rusting fabric, and jewelry making. Since 2008, Vickie has taught a variety of art workshops in her Scottsdale, AZ studio.
